Learned a little bit about Rescue Ink – tough guys helping out animals.
This morning we headed over to the first day of the Annapolis Winter farmer’s market – not a lot of vendors yet, but I’m guessing it’ll grow. We picked up some turnips, soap, coffee for cheap and a localvore mag for free of note was the spiffy alpaca stuff.
On the way home, we swung by 3rd eye comics and I caught up on my ambush bug – also got the Munchkin Quest boardgame & an Obama comic for BHK.
Visited Best Buy to peek at the eee netbooks, and the acer one – maybe a goodie for us later on this year (not purchasing at BB, though – online has better deals). $200 for a laptop with internet isn’t too shabby.
After that we came home – watched die monster die (boris karloff flick loosely based on "the colour out of space"), the soup, mr meaty, and corpse bride, sanctuary… tried to soak up as much rest as we could, but I still ending up pooped, so I took apart train set under the Christmas Tree, and now we’re tucking in to bed.

Happy Birthday to Kat (and 3 years of journaling!)
Today, I got my shots, and BHK visited the doc for chest pains- turned out to be muscle-related… knot in her back radiated out to the rib area. Knot is fading considerably now, thankfully.
This afternoon, BHK and I finished Happiness of the Khatkuris, and The Dunwich horror – both were much better than I’d hoped, for totally different but similar reasons. "Bad" horror flicks, that were fun to watch, mostly because BHK was in the room with me while we lounged on the couch and ate chocolate cookies.
After the movie-fest, it was off to Selby with the in-laws – Not bad, but not the best – lots of new folks there – owners out, so the quality was a bit under par, but still good.
BHK got her big warm coat for our trip to Punxy – she’ll be toasty warm while we’re there now, I’ll wager.

BHK picked me up from work tonight – we pretty much came straight home to a cucumber salad, leftover (but delicious) quiche, and a viewing of the first half The Happiness of of Katakuris – so far, so good.
Farewell, Christmas lights… North Beach is slowly taking them all down. All that remained this morning were the igloo, santa, a reindeer, and one lone tree, where there was once a dozen or so.
Our lights are off, but not yet down – maybe this weekend, the roof will get cleared.

Chris’s Merto car conked out – (re-parked with the ignition on) BHK got her from the metro prior to my pickup. She couldn’t reach Larry – his cellpohne was turned off. As a result, Chris came with us to dinner with Tina, at Mexico.
Supper was good, we all chit-chatted a bit – Tina’s going to the inauguration – I’m passing – too crowded and mobby for me. Best to just stay home and enjoy coverage via the news while I relax in my jammies.
Newton leaping down from his perch – BHK relocated Pyecam for a more worm’s eye view. Newtcam seems less active these days – time to open the windows, maybe.

Icy, cold rain all day – bhk and I came home, and she had some tasty quiche for us to munch for dinner.
We both chatted a bit with Angie Goff last night via mogulus – I’m not sure if it’s what I want ot use to strema newtcam, but it is a good little website, once you work out the kinks. Also so Kim Martucci on video as well – it was fun chatting with both of ’em!
It occurs to me that I haven’t yet mentioned my Christmas loot. here is a brief list, likely in need of more detail later.
Here are some of the goodies I got this year, in no particular order, just off the top of my head:
