(I’d like to see cats & dogs, but the last showing was at 10:30)

Planet of the apes is really the big one here. Anyone who knows me, and my fondness for the series and primates in general can attest to that.

If it’s mobbed (since it’s opening night…) I’ll probably duck into kiss of the dragon, instead. Jet Li action flick, that can work. If the A/c is broken in there, I’ll toddle into final fantasy, just to eyeball the cgi. should that film break, and there’s no cabs availably for 2 hours, I’ll look into JP3. I’m not expecting a lot form that one.

Looks good… 2 theatres are showing apes, one at 12, the other 12:30… if it looks too crowded, I can happily wait it out.

Plans include – movie popcorn (salt, no butter), a cherry coke, and the hope that the film is good, or at least so bad it’s good.

Wish me luck! I’ll be taking my sweetie along in spirit.

update! She’s here! tardy… yayy… I ‘d rather see her than a dumb ol’ movie any day.
