Hey by the way while I’m thinking about it I’ve settled into a collection of extensions I really like for FireFox and I thought I’d share.

Auto tab discard – “discard” is the wrong word, don’t let this scare you off; this pauses background tabs so they’re not constantly running scripts or refreshing and eating up memory. You can set how long you want it to be before it “discards” (pauses) the tab, you can set certain tabs to not discard, you can tell it to not discard tabs with media playing; 100/10, HUGE HUGE speed and functionality improvements to my browser/system with this extension – https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/auto-tab-discard/

Mind the Time – tracks how long you’ve spent on the pages you’re on (so I can see that I’ve spent four hours and sixteen minutes on tumblr today and reassess my life) (i like the IDEA of productivity apps that prevent me from getting on sites I spend too much time on but if my computer ever tries to tell me what to do I get immediately fighty so this is just a mindfulness thing) – https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mind-the-time/

Multi Account Containers – VERY GOOD LIFECHANGING PERFECT EXTENSION; opens tabs in isolation so you can log in as different users in the same window without logging out. Basically I can be logged into multiple gmail/tumblr/amazon accounts without having to open private windows and that’s Very Nice – https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/

Facebook Container – keeps FB from tracking you all over the place and isolates it into its own little biohazard container and good riddance – https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/facebook-container/
