So… we only drove our primary vehicle 1120 miles? An average of a little over 4 miles a day.

Pandemic has saved us a ton of road time. Work from home, no dining out, really only getting some non delivery medicine, doctors visits and trips to the post office.

Compared to pre-pandemic, with 4 hour commutes, no real long distance vacations, or really even travel to doctors that could be replaced with telemedicine.

I have been very fortunate all things considered, but as someone who is at very high risk for pneumatic issues, I am pretty fearful of new cdc guidelines changing. At least they still gave these in place for the moment : (via https://bit.ly/3PpIvWr )

If you have recently had severe illness or have a weakened immune system, please consult your doctor before ending isolation. Ending isolation without a viral test may not be an option for you. If you are unsure if your symptoms are moderate or severe or if you have a weakened immune system, talk to a healthcare provider for further guidance.

Physical distance is just one component of how to protect yourself and others. It is important to consider the risk in a particular setting, including local COVID-19 Community Levels and the important role of ventilation, when assessing the need to maintain physical distance.

I would prefer they continue to push for masking indoors and continue to promote stronger safety, though. Even if you are not at deadly risk, someone you know probably is, and your chances of getting otherwise ill is greatly reduced.
