Heard about Riker at work watching dvd movies on company time…I don’t have any problem with it, as he’s setup, and if there are no setups to do, it’s mostly hurry up and wait. However, discretion might’ve been a good idea. Maybe playing with his setup tools, like jetletter or corel draw would’ve been more politically correct. I feel most folks should just pipe down, as long as stuff gets done. I fear he’ll be the next flavor of the day… he’s not into confrontation… I coud see him quitting if someone gets too uppity with him.

television here has “crossing over w/john edward” on the tube… I’m willing to accept that there are unknown mysteries out there, and possibly psychics, but this guy rings all my fraud bells.

it’s some sort of old folks magnet, though. the geriatric crowd here is enthralled by its infomercial-like design. I suspect that I could pull a similar carny scam on the people here. simply get a big enough crowd, and mention some generic po-culture references…”someone here once met a guy named john…possibly a relative?”

this office seems to have a better sense of throughput…patients are cycling at a good clip. I is standing room only, here, too, though. the woman on my left mentioned that it’s about a 45 minute wait after your assigned time. not as bad as the other place.

well, back to reading the lensmen books. (my latest synch to the palm, along with the latest onion and local news.)

Once it is completely optimised and we can dedicate another server or two, it will be opened up to all accounts, with free accounts only having a limited subset of access.

also added 2 icons to the . they’ll only show up if the user has no default pic, however.

Sproing!

Newtie was extra snugglesome last evening. Maybe because I brushed my teeth so soon before bed. (usually I hit the sack an hour or two after brushies… last night is was brush and plop)

I’m wearing socks. If I’m going to be wearing shoes to work daily, I’d better get some more socks. (I only own 3 pair.) Usually, the only time I wear ’em is to fancy dress occaisions, like weddings, funerals or court.

It hurt my sciatica to put on my left sock… I’m going to mention that to Kev when I get in today. It’s on now, so I’ll wear ’em today. I can sit crosslegged, but being a giant, I have to stretch my leg considerably to make the foot reach my hands. I’ve got long arms and legs.

Appointment for my X-ray is tomorrow at 10:45am. Let’s hope they’re speedier than my pokey doc. I’ve noticed that I have trouble wiggling the toes on my left foot, and there is some numbness across the top.

Gear on today – Black birkenstock shoes (time for me to get some he-clogs.)

Khaki pants, medum brown socks with some tan shot through, green & cream plaid shirt, hair in a low pony. forest green hair tie. The boxers match the shirt.

Nighty night… I’m cool. got my blankie, my kitty, and love in my heart. 🙂

Going in to work today, shortly. foggy dreams last night. I got into an arguement with Astley regarding his duty…I finally got him to take some responsibility for the bad hardware he gave me…hopefully he’ll give me a refund. It’s only been a year.

For some reasony my avango doesn’t want to synch, so I’m having a little trouble posting from my palm. I may copy it into a memo, and post it in later, if it continues to be troublesome.

Newt’s going to be lonely today… he’s gotten used to me being available to him 24/7 for play and snugs. I know that when I get home he’s going to be very lovey, certainly. Hes laying on my foot right now, having a midday nap. I’m going to miss him at work today, too. I need to remember to get him more food, too…about 2 days more left.

“little house, a new beginning?” is on… Weird… I forget that they spun the show off to focus on Laura & Almonzo’s married life. It’s on TBS right now. I don’t remember the Nellie replacement, either, “Nancy”, some other nasty little blonde Oleson girl.

Ah well, I’m off. there’s my ride. until tonight, dear journal.

Thoughts of Red-furred Libras will get me through the day. 🙂 You know that list? I’m going to use it to write a few memory posts of what spawned certain titles, later tonight or tomorrow. I encourage other folks to do the same with theirs. 🙂
