Remember that old fable of the tortoise and the hare? Basically, the faster hare is overconfident and loses a foot race to the slower, but steadier, tortoise. Somehow, the moral to this story is: “slow and steady wins the race.”
I beg to differ. The race was not won by the tortoise; it was lost by the hare. The moral should read: “don’t mess around when there’s stuff to be done.” Or something like that.

Cracking open a finger-sized stick of the dark chocolate bar reveals a vein of white fat where other candies conceal butterscotch, caramel or other traditional sweets. The candies are called “Fat in Chocolate.”

Wow. I had like 100 points of value today in AOK. about 87 of them were in game one… actually won it, and was a valid contributor, I think.
Games 2,3, & 4… I sucked. Like a weasel on an egg. (Let’s keep the metaphors clean, eh?) Upside, I did learn things, and got to spend time with good folks.
Going to bed… got a double date with the woman I love, and spongebob squarepants / angry beavers. 🙂

The 16 companies I’ve tried to order from won’t ship to PO boxes. Feh! Now I have to figure something else out. Maybe have it sent to me, then to her somehow.
Looks like that’s what I’m gonna do. I hope it makes it to me by Tuesday, so I can same-day it to her for Wednesday… She’s understanding, but I hate to be late.
