Ok, this episode of Orville with the Reddit upvote/downvote society is pretty spot on.
I’ve been called worse.
Humph, actually mr Demon, the cough and sickness have begun to abate legitimately, and I realize that I haven’t called Wilton or Danny to wish them a happy birthday. Still bronchially challenged, but solid enough to venture to a wake for a family friend, Fred Herman. He was, by my estimation, a good egg, and will be missed by everyone in the Twin Beaches based on the turnout.
Resting in the car now, while Allison and her mom take Diane for a quick visit to TJ Maxx. I’d have called the birthday gents earlier, if I’d been earlier to the phone.

Today Jan 5 2018
Not a great deal happened, a bit better on the lung side, I don’t think it is pneumonia, thank goodness. Hit me hard on Wednesday, and mornings are still quite rough, but improving. I haven’t really left the house since returning from Roanoke. My life as a tree should be more triffid-like come the weekend.
Enjoying Shut Eye season 2. I’m wondering how well researched some of the Romany traditions are.

Daily entry returns, but for how long?
Probably will get spotty again immediately, but while I’m sick, let us try.
So, I watched Bright last night, and didn’t find it any worse than a hundred other fantasy movies, or buddy cop flicks. I liked it more than Suicide Squad, certainly. (Not a super high bar) but really, on the grand scale of movies of this kind… I give it a nice 6.5 out of 10. Better than average, some weak bits, some strong bits, nice sets and setting, nifty effects, a lot of plot holes, but nothing to get butthurt over. I’ve played in frpg games that made a lot less sense and still had a good time.
I’m not a huge Will Smith fan, but he did his thing reasonably well as far as I saw. I still remember enjoying Alien Nation more, but nostalgia may be a factor, I should go back and watch it.
Possibly related to the good review, I’m coming out of my icky-sicky state, probably slept a total of 13 or so hours in a row, which likely helped, along with my sweetheart being a kind and generous nurse, by getting all kinds of soup and juice for me in addition to being a total love.
