So, I watched the first episode of doom patrol. I don’t mind the character liberties taken with Rita and Larry, but Cliff… not as great, but I understand the useful plot hooks there. Some nice nods to the comic, and Alan Tudyk is a perfect Mr. Nobody and narrator. Pleased with the Chief and Crazy Jane so far too. Not sure how I feel about the time dilation element, but it could unfold in an interesting way. The English translation of the title of this work is “If Sunrise, We Depart.” This etching was made from plate #71 of the “Los Caprichos” (The Caprices) suite of etchings that were made between 1793 and 1798. There were 80 etchings made in that suite. This print was produced in 1868. Francisco Goya (1746-1828) was a Spanish artist primarily known for his paintings.
