Wanted to photograph some critters, but all that were available to snap were plant life and an ancient idol to the sasquatch, no doubt thanks to the leafy cover and my noisy walking style.

Swamp is now fully green, and with the water and verdant foliage, there are more than a few mosquitoes – very glad dungarees were worn rather than shorts. Sisto and Harold are both seemingly immune to bug bites, but your intrepid journalist is not so fortunate.
