Pretty cute themed pick and mix dumpster bot comprised of bits and bobs from a tiny plastic dumpster. They came with an internal lighting and vibration system. Parts include a server, stereo speaker, a few clothes irons for front skids and a tv antenna along with some claw graspers and tiny tires. #Pyewacket is lounging out of focus atop the laundry in the background.

Swampwalking on Social distancing day 146.

It was pleasantly cool at about 730 this morning, maybe 75f. Post storm, there were a lot of clouds and wet plant life to keep things less than hellish.

Wildlife report – panda cat was lounging outside, no sign of aliencat or fluffernutter. Birds were extra chirpy, osprey had quite a bit to say in particular. Only 2, but dang, they were noisy. Protecting a nest, possibly? Spotted a young eagle and a smattering of smaller birds, mostly starlings.

2 squirrels having a game of chase.

No headless phantoms doing yoga or golden-pelted gorillas wearing cowboy hats. This time. Dang it.

A smattering of butternut squash plants have bloomed in our yard, purely volunteer. That’s fine, but I would have preferred a random zucchini plant springing up. The asparagus and grapes that are there deliberately are coming along nicely. Though young, I imagine that since they are vine plants and in our yard, I technically am the proprietor and a caretaker of a vineyard.

Considering the removal of most social media apps from my phone. I’d keep Instagram, but Facebook and Twitter could certainly be dropped into the “visit via web browser” status, I think. I don’t have snapchat or tiktok on my phone at all, and don’t miss them.

We can disagree.

I think it’s pretty funny (weird, not ha-ha) that when some folks see me state a belief that is different than theirs, they automatically think that I am trying to change their mind.

I don’t really care what most randos think.

If they like Trump (for example), and say so in a forum, I will say that I don’t, and maybe say why. I don’t care if they change their belief, mainly because odds are good that they won’t, and it is no failing of mine if they keep thinking the way that they do.

I will feel that they are wrong and hope that they are in the minority, but that will be about it.

There is only futility and frustration if you care what the internet thinks. Half of it is ignorant, and much of the rest is trolls.

I feel bad for anyone who feels that they can change that.
