The vast majority of my friends who have been bitten by wild birds, were attacked by waterfowl.
A Pelican, a goose, ducks and seagulls in particular.
Why waterfowl?
A youth spent in Florida and up the east coast maybe? Perhaps folks in the Midwest are more likely to be attacked by owls and kestrals?
I don’t remember having been bitten by a bird at all, not even if they were a pet. (We had a few birds as I was growing up… parakeets and cockateils.)
