Mostly speaking through pictures this evening – before heading out tonight, I got my allergy shots, had a haircut at the local barber ($10!) and a lunch of mixed media in Deale – between the in-laws, BHK and I, we had White pizza with carrot, broccoli and asparagus / california roll / hush puppies / a hamburger & fries / fired mushrooms / veggie lo mein.
 
Hush puppies were the clear winner for me.
 
Headed back home to get ready for the party – black suit, purple shirt and tie, the requisite beads, and my multi-colored all-stars. BHK wore her green paisley top and purple boots / wrap combo. 

Good food at Mardi Gras too – drunken noodles my fave, but all of the feed was pretty tasty. Photos from today- BHK, me, stilt man, Newton, Pyewacket
