Church decorated with the bones of its’ past parishioners.

“The Sedlec Ossuary (a.k.a. Kostnice) is a small Christian chapel decorated with human bones. It’s located in Sedlec, which is a suburb in the outskirts of the Czech town Kutna Hora. In 1996 I visited the place and fell madly in love with it. “

Ossuaries were quite common in the old world. Before frequent cremation was partially accepted a lot of communal graveyards had serious space problems even on a base of natural moribundity.
Add some famine or plague and you’d better start stacking. (Not to mention people wanting the pole position for doomsday.)

Odd dreams last night… a lot of movement and travel. There were many sensations of high speeds and if not flight, a sideways plummet. Swift Free-fall. I don’t recall a vehicle. Gadzooks… Speaking of movement, this morning blasted past. Off to work! Until Later, dear journal.
