went out with my little brother and his girlfriend today.. I wish I could’ve brought Ornj with me.

My brother and I are so different in some ways. He has a tattoo. (a big one, of a flaming skull on his right side and stomach) If I were to get a tattoo, it’d be someplace and something different. The family crest, or something along those lines. He got severe burns on his tummy as a young boy, I got serious back surgery about a decade ago.

He’s blonde, I’m dark-haired… He’s tall, like I am, but he’s thin, and not fuzzy at all. no goatee. If we had the same birthday, I’d claim to be his evil twin. 🙂

We look very little alike.. but I think we both turned out pretty well.
Derek, cleverly hiding the tattoo, lest mom see it. :)

I arrived at the library to meet him this morning… he and Lori arrived over an hour late. (no sweat, I know his time-sense) I looked briefly for the book club’s book, to read while I wait for my personal copy to arrive, to no avail. We walked around the city, idly chit-chatting about nothing in particular. We never did get around to seeing the movie, as Lori wasn’t particularly into sitting still for a couple of hours. A quick lunch was had at the IMAX, consisting of tasty subway sammiches, veggies all around. After eating, we wandered the local craft-show… a few ideas for Valentine’s a go go presents…anyhow, it was getting sort of chilly, so we decided to pack it in, and head home… I swung by the grocery store for supplies.

I got home fairly recently, and have been mentally debating with myself about how I’m feeling. I don’t feel bad about my current job situation. A little stress, but I’m not upset or worried… I’m quite confident that the situation is livable. (Honestly, I’m surprised at myself for staying there as long as I have… the company seems to be my biggest source anger or stress.)

I’m going to make this for supper tonight. 🙂 yummity yumyum!
